JOB SUMMARY:

This position will act as a liaison between user communities, Programmers/Software Engineers, Systems Training Development, Customer Care and all levels of management.

Identifies end user requirements, participate in JAD sessions, translate into detailed application specifications and develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Works very close with the development team

Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:

  • Analyze application enhancements requested by users. Make formal recommendations, write application specifications including conversion, upgrade and interface routines, develop and execute test plans, report results and communicate resolution to users
  • Document the processes used for implementing new releases and/or resolving upgrade problems
  • Facilitate communications between users and development to maximize user and system efficiency
  • Work cross functionally with the business heads and delivery heads to execute the product strategy and roadmap 
  • Ensuring appropriate research and user testing is done before we build solutions 
  • Act as a subject matter expert to a cross-functional team on sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and maintaining/controlling a backlog 
  • Writing effective use cases that address the problems and needs of our users 
  • Defining and instrumenting success criteria that is measured via qualitative and quantitative feedback 
  • Manage an effective and groomed backlog 
  • Clearly define Acceptance Criteria per feature 
  • Expert Agile Processes management (Scrum and Agile Hybrid) and Cross Functional communication 
  • Efficient and Effective Solution Delivery Process development with continuous improvement driven by data

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s College degree

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 – 4 years related experience

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Google Technologies
  • Actively working in Agile Scrum Development Methodology, preferably with JIRA
  • Hands on experience with a defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP Quality Center for efficient QA cycle
  • Actively worked with one or many Content Management Systems – like Drupal, Wordpress.
  • Highly preferable to have exposure to technologies like Elastic, MongoDb, Kafka.Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Exposure to mobile app is very desirable
  • SEO, SEM, Content marketing experience is a plus
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience describing and documenting specific requirements
  • Must be detail oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
