Billing Manager - 24715

  • ​This position will manage the billing function;  including ensuring timely and accurate billing on national accounts, collaborating with collections to reduce account aging issues, and following company policies and procedures including key controls compliance.
  • Mentor/lead/develop others; manage delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; budget accountability; goals and objectives management; develop and maintain executive level relationships with field
  • Provide guidance when updating company policy surrounding billing
  • Ensure monthly/weekly/semi monthly billing is completed timely and accurately
  • Develop and support people through fair and equitable policy administration, training, development, and other opportunities for learning; clarifies roles and performance expectations; provides recognition; provides opportunities for staff to contribute to decisions that affect them; an ensures a safe and health work environment
  • Manages the creation and maintenance of database files that support the department and are instrumental in determining the financial activity for the company
  • Coordinates with departments to identify possible system revisions, formulate systems requests and recommendations, and analyze post-implementation results of system changes
  • Develop talent through effective performance management to ensure succession planning at all levels
  • Establishes measures goals of own unit or department, team, and individuals

Minimum Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred

 Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years experience in accounting/finance or relevant fields with analytical experience required
  • Minimum of 6 - 8 years progressive management experience required
  • Large ERP experience required (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, etc)
  • Hyperion experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Randstad operations and systems is an asset
  • Excel, Query and Reporting
