Payroll Garnishment Specialist - 24924

Position Overview:  

The Payroll Garnishment Specialist is responsible for processing of  payroll garnishments including child support, tax levies, student loans, bankruptcies, creditor garnishments, and lump sum payment in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  This includes but is not limited to receiving, interpreting and data entry of payroll garnishments for a weekly payroll of approximately 80,000 employees nationwide.

 

Principle Responsibilities

  • Interpret and enter payroll garnishments into PeopleSoft payroll system
  • Monitor and respond to incoming calls from employees and agencies
  • Respond to payroll garnishment orders

Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):  

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated work experience in garnishments for large volume payroll (50,000+ payees).
  • PeopleSoft or other HRMS human resources and payroll experience
  • Staffing industry experience preferred.
