Director, Business Performance Management - 26879

Position Overview:  

The Director Business Performance Management will be responsible for leading the lean initiatives within the US Financial Shared Services Group partnering with the US Financial Services Group leadership team on three key areas:

  • Lean Leadership consisting of:
  1. Visual Management
  2. Operating Metrics by Department and Creation of Executive Dashboard
  3. Capacity Planning
  • Standardization focusing on:
  1. Coaching Lean Champions & Green Belts
  2. Documentation of standard work processes
  3. Conducting and supporting lean training
  • Efficiency & Reliability:
  1. Insure consistency and sustainability
  2. Focus on process improvement and internal controls
  3. Understand voice of the customer

Ultimately this role’s success is measured by assisting in the transformation of the US Financial Shared Services Group into a finely tuned shared service operation.   

Education & Experience (Required and Preferred): 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, higher education preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and introducing metrics to operate and manage shared service environment
  • Demonstrated experience working through teams and organization to drive business performance improvement
  • Previous consulting experience preferred
  • Preferred – Experience with LEAN / Six Sigma practices

Qualifications & Skills (Required and Preferred): 

  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload
  • Lead through influence/diplomacy
  • Extremely organized
  • Work directly with teams, hands on teaching/development of team
  • Executive presence & ability to interact with high-level decision makers

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of company personnel
  • Superior consulting, leadership, coaching, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Process modeling and documentation
  • Agile learner who can quickly adjust to projects and stakeholder outside past expertise
  • Advanced usage of Google tools, Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
