Senior Analyst, Procurement - 28189

Position Overview:  
 
Senior Analyst, Procurement, will partner with the Director of Procurement and other senior leaders to support the strategic objectives and priorities for the Randstad US Procurement Team, and will be part of a Procurement team that is transitioning from manual invoice allocation and tracking to an automated process which includes the use of a P2P system.    
 
Specific responsibilities will include: 
  • Supporting Director of Procurement and Category Managers with category spend data and analytics to identify opportunities and make data driven decisions 
  • Prepare comparison analytics to model different scenarios when comparing supplier pricing, programs or travel/expense costs – make recommendations to leadership
  • Act as day to day contact for offshore resource, assign responsibilities and provide training
  • Negotiate renewals as needed and run RFP’s for internal business stakeholders
  • Monitor over-all health of Corporate Card program and make decisions on how to course correct as needed
  • Lead process improvement initiatives for the Procurement team, eliminate waste and non-value add via Lean methodology
  • Design future metrics and/or reports after implementation of P2P tool
  • Monthly spend analytics – ensure data integrity and explain variances
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and vendor maintenance requests
 
Skills:
  • Candidates should be competent in Microsoft Excel and previous experience with procurement spend data and P2P system/solution is preferred.  White Belt or Yellow Belt experience is a plus.
Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):  
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) preferred but not required
  • 6- 8 Years of Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Finance
  • Must have demonstrated analytical and problem solving experience
