Tatum provides senior-level interim and project consultants in addition to highly regarded executive search services. 

Essential Job Responsibilities of the Director, Executive Search: 

  • Assumes full desk responsibilities while driving revenue and GP growth through client development sales and direct hire placements.
  • Utilizes sales and recruitment activities to achieve minimum performance standards and above through direct hire billings.
  • Proven success in pipelining & matching candidates for placement, managing the direct hire process including lead generation with existing and/or new accounts.
  • Responsible for talent attraction, sourcing, interviewing, marketing candidates, coordinating interview activities and closing placements.
  • Retention and business development initiatives and minimizing fall-offs by executing the post placement process.
  • Will exercise discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance that are directly related to the management and operation of the business.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required. 
  • Master's degree is preferred. 

Work Experience

  • Executive Search experience is preferred. 
  • 5-7 years of business development experience 
  • Previous experience and/or background in Finance and Accounting strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment. 
  • Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan.
  • Detail oriented with follow-through shown in previous positions.
  • Able to communicate with and present at the executive level.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Ability to qualify and close deals. 
  • Assertive and ambitious with strong persuasion/negotiation skills.
