Senior Financial Analyst - 28837

This position specializes in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, analyzing profitability, and adding value by providing meaningful insights. The analyst will partner with upper level management and operations to steer the business and monitor progress.

The analyst will not only “solve the problem,” but also summarize and articulate the results to management. Painting the picture of what is happening by articulating insights from the analysis is critical to the value that our group provides.

The right candidate will need strong critical thinking skills to successfully operate in an entrepreneurial environment. As our team’s success continues to grow, new demands are frequently placed of us, requiring adaptability. Strong logical reasoning skills are necessary for navigating models and advanced Excel functions and techniques. The ability to think conceptually and execute accordingly is critical to progressing the team’s entrepreneurship.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and six + years of experience. This position reports to Manager, Financial Analytics.

This position can include some or all of the following responsibilities:

  • Monthly forecasts and business steering with operations and top level management
  • Quarterly Business Reviews and associated financial analysis
  • Annual budget process
  • Analysis and presentation of financial results to Senior Management, including insights, drivers, and expected outcomes
  • Financial decision support for Senior Management team
  • Financial Modeling
  • Various ad-hoc financial analytics

  • Minimum Education
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
  • MBA or Financial certifications a plus

  • Six + years in financial analysis and planning
  • Preferred Field-of-Expertise

  • Excel Modeling
  • Hyperion/Essbase experience
  • Big Four experience a Plus
