JOB SUMMARY
The Managing Director (MD) provides leadership for our Randstad Engineering direct hire division.  This person is responsible for all performance activities within our  Texas territory including, but not limited to, training, mentoring/motivating, business development, candidate recruiting, conflict resolution, customer service and retention, intra-operating company synergies, and P&L responsibilities. They are responsible for managing and developing a team as well as leading by example, particularly in the areas of production and business development. The MD will manage a book of business while handling all facets of Randstad Engineering’s permanent placement business on a regional level (Houston-based).

EDUCATION

• Undergraduate degree preferred but industry experience is more critical

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in the staffing industry within the Engineering or IT/Technical verticals required
• Knowledge of full desk recruiting (sales) strongly preferred but not required
• 2+ years of direct or indirect management experience within the staffing industry

• Documented ability to develop teams focused on continuous improvement and execution
• Excellent business operations and financial competency along with priority management
