Recruitment Coordinator (6 month contract) - 31665

Job Overview:

Location: San Francisco or Chicago Office - Onsite 5 days a week

The Recruitment Coordinator role is an integral part of Cisco. This role directly contributes to the Talent Acquisition team as part of the overall Global Talent Acquisition organization. You will serve as an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Cisco. This position is best suited for a dynamic, driven and organized individual who excels in a client-facing role. The coordinator’s task may be divided into buckets depending on the region that is supported.

Essential Functions:

Onboarding:

  • Process/Manage all pre boarding tasks including:
    • Contract
    • Immigration initiation (depending on region of work supporting)
    • Onboarding paperwork
    • Background check initiation
    • Ensuring all forms are completed and processed timely
    • Any travel requirements for new hire orientation (hotel/flight)
    • Ensuring candidate is clear to start
  • Candidate experience advocate
  • Contact and follow up with candidates/new hires through the pre boarding/onboarding process
  • Support Recruiter events and program activities
  • Support Recruiter administrative task as needed

Scheduling:

  • Create, route for approval and post all requisitions in Greenhouse and Avature
  • Manage candidate interview process (phone, video, in office and on-campus), providing all logistical support including room reservations, travel coordination, schedule creation, meal orders, interview packet creation, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate all travel related to the interview process
  • Provide meet/greets/tours for all onsite interviews
  • Manage and coordinate all debrief sessions
  • Ensure all candidates have final dispositions prior the requisition being closed/filled
  • Candidate experience advocate
  • Support Recruiter/Program activities
  • Process PO/PR all invoices
  • Work with shipping to ensure branding and marketing materials are delivered and received in a timely manner.
  • Support Recruiter administrative task as needed

Our ideal candidate:

  • BA/BS degree or 1+ years professional experience, preferably high volume recruiting coordinator or administrative experience in a growing company
  • Able to switch priorities with ease
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; top-notch tact in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong track record of operational excellence when multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and/or HR management systems preferred
