The Account Director (AD), Aerospace & Defense, is directly responsible for, but not limited to, managing and expanding Randstad Digital’s business within a key multinational corporation focused on providing advanced systems and services for commercial, military, and government customers worldwide. This position focuses on driving business growth through opportunity generation and the cultivation of strong, strategic client relationships, while also ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Success in this role depends on effective leadership and communication to drive collaboration across internal teams and with external customers.

What you get to do:

  • Contribute to defining and implementing vision and strategic roadmap to drive growth and transformation of assigned client portfolio.
  • Engage stakeholders at multiple levels of leadership to understand their needs and challenges, and successfully position Randstad Digital’s solutions against new business opportunities.
  • Provide analysis on opportunities and risks in the defense aerospace market. Participate in making recommendations to executives on strategies and direction on the market segment.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast, capture strategies, and proposal development.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate new opportunities, including details such as value, competition, risks, relationship value, required support, and likely outcome.
  • Assume responsibility for service engagements, cultivate new key partner relationships, addressing both routine and complex matters.
  • Supervise the activities within established partnerships and contribute to the development of business alliances to meet the company's financial and expansion goals.
  • Maintain an organized information repository for assigned client; related departments and divisions

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or other related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace / defense industry
  • 6+ years experience in service delivery, account management, business development, client relationship / partnership
  • Demonstrated track record of success in service delivery, account management and business growth
  • Proven ability to identify client business challenges through effective communication and translate them into potential solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize metrics in order to gain insights into client performance
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and oral and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense market and or engineering/technology background, considered an asset
