Software Application Developer II – Randstad General Partner (US) LLC – One Overton Park, 3625 Cumberland Boulevard, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30339

DUTIES: Design, develop, document, and maintain software programs and applications to support the business needs. Work closely with others, such as with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects, to analyze user needs and to design and create optimum software. Modify existing software to fix errors and enhance functionality and performance. Be responsible for software development including writing new software programs and maintaining existing software programs, which includes enhancements and bug fixes. Perform activities in software development including but not limited to: analyzing requirements, determining feasibility, formulating plans required to develop new programs, creating technical designs, debugging, coding, unit testing, migrating and/or installing, and documenting changes. Provide production support of day-to-day business operations, working to identify and resolve issues based on priority. Act as an advisor to junior team members, supervisors, or staff members to help meet established schedules and resolve technical or operational problems. Manage stakeholder communications, including conducting briefings and technical meetings for IT and business representatives. Communicate with stakeholders to discuss business requirements and explain programming logic as it relates to design and function, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or clarification meetings.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field required. Six months of software development experience required, including any experience with: designing, building, unit testing, and migrating applications; performing root cause analysis to identify problems; working in teams with customers and other IT counterparts; relational databases; reporting and Business Intelligence (BI); mobile app development; automated unit testing and performance testing; and with the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, Git, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, HTML5/CCS3, HTTP, OOP, ORM, MEAN Stack, SDLC, ETL, SSRS, SSIS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft Application Designer tools 8.4 or higher; PeopleCode, Application Engine, PeopleSoft Integration Broker & Application Package, SQR, SQL, and C#.
