The Operations Director has operational and financial responsibility for overall engagement through the strategic application of Randstad Technologies and client resources. Scope includes responsibility for all sites and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Develop process, strategy, and skills to improve sales productivity; leader by example particularly in the area of production; manage sale and delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; implement business plan; multi-site management; budget/forecast management; foster strategic alliances, business partnerships, and relationships with key clients

- Work with client to establish and maintain standards for recruiting strategy, system requirements, and policies & procedures for all sites
- Ensure all teams conform to client and Company staffing processes and quality procedures as defined
- Under $50 million revenue (combined revenue for all sites)
- Guidance given: Work is performed without appreciable directions. Determines organizational objectives, interprets company policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers involving multi-level organizations. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-time perspective for desired results
- Policy involvement: Establishes organizational policies for a major segment of the company. Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company policy.
- Coach and mentor management team in their development
- Plan and ensure continued development of recruiters and support staff
- Ensure recruiting team is developed into expert recruiters and polished consultants
- Balance management team’s personal goals and objectives with business needs
- Direct all recruiting teams in delivering timely and effective recruiting, consultative, and staffing services to lines of business (LOBs)
- Ensure profitability of operations and high levels of performance
- Ensure hiring managers and business partners satisfaction with the quality and value of our services
- Develop tactical strategies for diversity, change management, targeted recruiting, and other special client requirements
- Communicate progress to client and provide direction to recruiting support team
- Manage against budget and monitor efficiency of operations
- Plan, organize, and direct all team operations including complex responsibilities and relationships, as well as administrative functions

- Define and implement changes as required to enhance delivery of services
- Ensure successful operations by monitoring progress against metrics and implementing corrective actions
- Work with Recruiting Managers and LOB Client Managers to anticipate needs and proper allocation of resources
- Represents the organizational unit as prime internal or customer contact or contract or operations. Conducts briefings and technical meeting for top management and customer representatives. Interacts with equivalent level inter-organizational managers concerning matters of significance to the company.
- Advise and guide management staff in resolving issues and problems
What you need to bring:
- Minimum High School or GED
- College degree required
- Additional education preferred
- 5 – 7 years of related experience
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong customer focus and customer service skills
- Experience presenting to C-level executives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
- Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
- Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
- Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
- Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
