As the Director of Training & Development at Randstad Digital, you will provide the vision and leadership for a dynamic team of training professionals. This role is pivotal in driving the profitability and productivity of our associates by spearheading the development and delivery of world-class training programs. You will act as a key advisor and change agent, collaborating with senior leadership to set training priorities that align with our overarching global strategy. You will direct your team to create and implement comprehensive learning solutions across various platforms, focusing on role-based competencies, technical platform expertise, and leadership development. Your strategic guidance will ensure all training initiatives align with our business objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

- Act as an advisor to senior leaders, helping to develop and implement training strategies that drive productivity and performance excellence.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to set the priorities for all training and development programs, ensuring alignment on near-term (1 year) and long-term (3 years) performance objectives.
- Champion a culture of coaching for productivity and performance excellence within the field leadership organization.
- Provide clear direction, leadership, and mentorship to a team of training partners, content managers, and operational managers.
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for training and development, translating company policies and platforms into actionable team objectives.
- Manage department budget, control expenses, and ensure the appropriate allocation of funds for training materials and resources.
- Lead the execution of various special projects and business improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Leverage performance analysis to align changes to process, people, or systems with the training and development strategy, vision, and roadmap.
- Direct the end-to-end process of training design and delivery, from conducting needs analyses to deploying final learning solutions.
- Oversee the ongoing evaluation and implementation of a world-class training portfolio, including new hire competency, leadership cohort training, and performance management programs.
- Manage the delivery of content across multiple formats, including classroom, on-the-job, self-study, and digital learning platforms.
- Foster a pipeline of future leaders by creating and delivering targeted leadership and management training programs.
- Collaborate with global, regional, and local partners to develop and deploy enhanced development programs.
- Act as the primary contact for training and development, collaborating with senior management to align learning initiatives with strategic business goals.
- Conduct briefings and present training strategy, progress, and outcomes to top management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure program effectiveness and efficiency by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs; recommend and implement action plans for improvement.
- Lead efforts to review and enhance internal training programs, driving quality and process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
- Establish and monitor performance measurements to assess the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives.
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school or GED education experience
- 12 years of progressive related experience in sales and recruiting leadership or operations.
- Deep knowledge of organizational effectiveness, training and development, process improvement and operations management.
- Staffing and solutions industry experience preferred.
- Proven success leading effectively within a global culture and matrixed environment.
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
- Strategic, forward thinking thought leader with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, handle difficult situations, and lead efficient and creative problem solving on complex issues.
- Excellent executive-level communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with others (regardless of level) and set and manage expectations.
- Highly collaborative and partner-oriented with a team-first attitude to build enduring, trust-based relationships with key business partners and effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure and to drive and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources in uncertain and ambiguous situations.
- High degree of integrity and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality with business and organizational information.
- Strong team leadership skills with a proven ability to promote high performance while fostering inclusion, growth and fun.
