The Engineering Full Desk Search Consultant will have active involvement in all facets of the organization’s permanent placement business. This position will plan and implement consistent volumes of focused activities necessary for high achievement in staffing for placements on a direct hire basis. These activities will include recruiting, interviewing, matching, coordinating interviews, and filling orders. The client activities will include client development, new account and retention sales calls, obtaining job orders, maintaining a high fill ratio, penetrating client accounts, and taking a positive proactive position in corporate partnering.

  • Driving sales and achieving direct hire placement targets: You will be directly responsible for hitting your sales goals by successfully placing engineering professionals with our client companies
  • Owning the full placement cycle: From identifying candidates to finalizing offers, you will manage the entire process with a focus on efficient and successful placements
  • Building client trust and delivering results: You will be accountable for understanding client needs and consistently delivering high-quality talent that meets their specific requirements
  • Proactively developing a strong talent pipeline: You will take ownership of building and maintaining a network of skilled candidates to readily fill current and future client openings
  • Attain consistent balanced activity in all areas as defined by Activity Metrics Plan
  • Establish focused business development and recruiting plans
  • Develop prospect list and execute a sales and marketing plan to generate new business
  • Follow-up on all existing business to ensure retention, quality control, and development of new business
  • Proactively seek new avenues to penetrate clients and attract candidates
  • Active participation in professional and civic organizations designed to build networking database

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of proven B2B or staffing sales experience  
  • Success in meeting personal gp targets through new client acquisition & repeat placements while negotiating placement fees 
  • Previous experience includes using activity targets to deliver & also steer results
  • Proven performer with a history of qualifying, managing and maintaining a database of clients & candidates
  • Able to communicate with and present at the executive level
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Sales abilities along with market knowledge and/or product/technical expertise
