You will act as a strategic advisor to define the leaders of tomorrow and influence your clients' growth by mapping the market to attract high-performing passive talent. By mastering the art of brand storytelling and behavioral assessment, you will secure C-Suite investments while orchestrating complex and mutually beneficial contractual negotiations. As a prestige ambassador, you will develop a high-value business practice, reinforcing Randstad's position as the partner of choice for the most confidential executive search mandates.
Your daily life revolves around constant strategic monitoring to anticipate the movements of Montreal's corporate elite. You lead high-level prospecting activities and engage in confidential discussions with top executives to identify their growth challenges. Between business meetings aimed at solidifying client relationships or courting exclusive passive talent, you switch to execution mode: rigorous market mapping, sophisticated direct approaches, and in-depth selection interviews based on cultural fit. Your role takes on a highly strategic dimension when writing detailed presentation profiles and orchestrating complex offer negotiations. Every interaction is an opportunity to strengthen your position as an expert and prestige ambassador for the Randstad Executive brand.
Strategic Consulting and Client Engagement: Act as a business partner to senior management (C-Suite) to define their leadership needs and advise them on organizational structures, compensation scales, and market trends.
High-Level Business Development: Identify and cultivate long-term relationships with prestigious clients in Montreal, transforming business growth challenges into exclusive executive search mandates.
Market Mapping and Intelligence: Perform an exhaustive analysis of target sectors to identify "invisible talent" and the industry's highest-performing passive leaders.
Headhunting and Direct Approach: Orchestrate sophisticated and confidential approach strategies to solicit senior executives and convince them of the strategic value of the opportunities offered.
Precision Evaluation and Selection: Conduct in-depth selection interviews based on critical competencies, emotional intelligence, and cultural fit to ensure perfect alignment with the client's vision.
360 Full-Cycle Management: Lead the entire mandate, from the initial brief to the writing of detailed presentation profiles, through to post-hire follow-up.
Negotiation and Offer Closing: Facilitate complex contractual negotiations (bonuses, equity, restrictive clauses) to ensure a harmonious conclusion between the client and the candidate.
Executive Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Randstad at exclusive events and within professional organizations to increase the division's visibility among the corporate elite.
You possess between 5 and 8 years of experience in 360 recruitment (permanent and/or contract), with demonstrated success in managing complex mandates.
You have the necessary ease to dialogue as an equal with business owners, board members, and C-Suite leaders.
You have a track record of success in business development and distinguish yourself by your ability to build a portfolio of prestigious clients.
You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent university education.
Perfect mastery of both French and English is essential to navigate Montreal's and the international business ecosystem.
You know how to read between the lines, manage strong personalities, and navigate complex political environments with finesse.
You possess a "business detective" instinct capable of mapping a market and subtly approaching high-level passive talent.
You don't just execute a mandate; you advise your clients on their organizational structure and value proposition.
You are skilled in orchestrating high-level contractual agreements (equity, signing bonuses, non-compete clauses).
You manage your practice like a business, with total autonomy, exemplary rigor, and a constant desire to exceed your goals.
This opportunity represents a true strategic turning point, allowing you to move away from transactional recruitment to become a Trusted Advisor to Montreal's corporate elite. You will benefit from compensation commensurate with your impact through a competitive base salary and an uncapped bonus plan designed to reward high-value mandates. By joining our division, you will benefit from the technological firepower and exclusive data of the global leader Randstad while evolving within an agile team with a "boutique" spirit. This role acts as a powerful career springboard, as we invest in your development to offer you a clear path toward global leadership roles or major account management within Randstad Executive Search.

Our organization is present across Canada as well as in 38 countries.
As described in the tasks, this specifically involves communicating, orally and in writing, with other Randstad teams located across Canada, as well as with our international clients and partners. Indeed, the majority of our activities involve international clients and partners. Following an assessment, we have concluded that the tasks associated with the Recruiter position require proficiency in English in addition to French (orally and in writing). We have also determined that the proficiency in English already required for other employees is not sufficient to perform the tasks requiring English proficiency for the Recruiter position. However, Randstad limits as much as possible the number of positions for which knowledge of another language is required to ensure the effective fulfillment of its mission.
