Randstad, the world’s leading talent company, is hiring a Performance Manager to support our Randstad Inhouse Service (RIS) division. RIS offers a unique operations and staffing solution that caters specifically to clients with high-volume staffing needs.
The Performance Manager will work on-site at our client’s location and build relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing and operational needs. They manage our employees in the work environment and coach them on the productivity, quality, safety and work behaviors required for job success. They listen to understand the required quality and volume, then screen, interview, and identify qualified candidates to fill positions.
Performance Manager act as an on-site extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of the client workforce including business relationship development, recruitment, selection, and management of the employees.
First shift operational hours roughly 5:45am to 2:45 pm.
Operational Integration: Work closely with the Site Manager, deeply embedding yourself in the client’s daily workflows, policies, and long-term strategic goals.
Consultative Relationship Building: Foster "top-of-mind" awareness with department heads through regular floor walks and face-to-face check-ins to anticipate staffing fluctuations.
Compliance & Excellence: Maintain total oversight of employment laws and Randstad’s operational standards to mitigate risk for both the client and the talent.
Service Delivery: Solve complex workforce hurdles in real-time, delivering innovative staffing solutions that delight the client while advocating for the talent’s success.
Precision Recruiting: Execute rigorous screening and interviewing processes tailored to specific job profiles, ensuring candidates match both the technical skills and the site's cultural pace.
Industry Fluency: 2+ years of experience in high-speed environments like manufacturing, logistics, or general operations.
Recruitment Savvy: A background in high-volume staffing (1+ years preferred) with the ability to spot quality at scale.
Agility: A proven track record of multitasking in "interrupt-driven" environments where priorities can shift by the hour.
Communication Mastery: The ability to speak the language of the warehouse floor while also presenting professional business reviews to executive leadership.
Conflict Resolution: A calm, professional approach to managing complex personnel or client situations with diplomacy and effective outcomes.
Expectation Management: The confidence to advise clients on workforce strategies, including the ability to negotiate timelines and adjust expectations based on market reality.
