As the Sales Director for Hospitality and Event Staffing, you will be the primary growth engine for Randstad’s proprietary digital talent platform within the Hospitality and Events segment. You are not just selling staffing; you are selling a tech-enabled solution that allows hotels, stadiums, and event planners to scale their workforce in real-time. Your mission is to disrupt traditional staffing models by putting the power of the Randstad App directly into the hands of industry decision-makers.

  • Market Expansion: Identify and close high-value partnerships with Tier-1 hotel groups, national event management firms, and large-scale venue operators
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their seasonal fluctuations, service standards, and labor pain points
  • Platform Evangelism: Demonstrate the value of our digital-first approach, showing clients how the Randstad App reduces time-to-fill and improves worker transparency
  • Strategic Positioning: Tailor Randstad’s value proposition to solve the unique pain points of the hospitality sector (e.g., seasonal surges, high turnover, and last-minute event staffing)
  • Revenue Ownership: Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution, ensuring aggressive year-over-year growth in the hospitality vertical
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with the Product and Tech teams to relay market feedback, ensuring our app remains the best-in-class tool for event staffing
  • Relationship Management: Act as the strategic bridge between the client and delivery methodologies to ensure the "delivery" matches the "pitch."
  • Brand Advocacy: Represent Randstad at major industry trade shows to build a robust pipeline

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience targeting hospitality and event venues, focused on the strategic placement of temporary personnel and high-volume staffing partnerships
  • Proven track record of driving growth within the hospitality and event staffing sector, specifically leveraging digital marketplace platforms to deliver high-volume workforce solutions to enterprise clients
  • Extensive experience managing complex sales cycles for high-capacity environments - such as major sporting venues, convention centers, and international summits
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations or large scale event production
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas with lengthy, complex sales cycles
  • Exceptional presentation and pitching skills, with a proven ability to influence "C-Suite" executives and General Managers at the enterprise level
  • Tech savvy; proficiency in CRM tools and a data driven approach to pipeline management
  • Proficient using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
