As the Event/Project Manager at our company, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and planning all events from end to end. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the work that comes into the marketing department, ensuring that all work is completed on time or end dates are managed effectively.

With guidance from your direct supervisor and others, you will own the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Build out yearly events plan working with marketing manager and sales to deliver on overarching company, sales and marketing goals.
- Mange event registration platform (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.).
- Stay up-to-date on event platforms and evaluate what is best for our business.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms.
- Understand requirements and details of each event, including clients’ needs, wants and intended audience. Maintain constant communication with clients.
- Plan and organize events with attention to financial and time constraints, remaining in budget.
- Book venues and schedule speakers after comparing multiple options (catering, space, decorators, entertainment).
- Manage and oversee all event operations from email invitations to close of events. Including preparing venue and confirming vendors.
- Prepare event budget, track the overall event expenses regularly and continuously communicate progress with client.
- Work with art director to produce/update events on website, write event emails and event social media promotions.
- Work with art director to create all event signage and presentations.
- Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Evaluate event’s success and submit analytics with ROI.
- Ensure that events maintain proper profit margins.
- Manage workload received through Function Fox and the Function Fox Platform.
- Set up weekly status calls for the marketing dept to review current priorities of work, future work and resource planning.
- Present status of projects and recommendations/resolutions in strategy meetings.
- Serve as the project leader for cross-functional initiatives that are intended to drive growth and retention.
- Establish a project plan template, meeting facilitation, consensus building, recommendation documentation, and implantation oversight.
- Perform detailed analysis of data, workflows, policies, procedures, and skills in order to execute initiatives. Investigates and validates improvement opportunities.
- Monitor status of all assigned projects/accounts and adhere to deadlines.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers as needed.
- Prepare communications and presentations to all levels of the organization.
- Assist in building process improvements and project management skills for the marketing team.

- Be an enthusiastic learner – improve your personal knowledge and skills in advancement of company objectives; Have awareness of external factors impacting our business.
What you need to bring:
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
- Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a very strong degree of analytical review and other skill sets that speak to intense verbiage review for correctness
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment; comfort working in a time sensitive, deadline-oriented environment with frequently changing priorities
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- High degree of self-responsibility and ownership of assignments
- 4-year degree in business or marketing is preferred.
- Proven proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat on a MAC operating system
