About the Role

RIS offers a unique operations and staffing solution that caters specifically to clients with high-volume staffing needs. The Site Manager will work on-site at our client’s manufacturing location in Port Jervis, NY, building strong relationships with hiring managers to deeply understand their staffing needs. In this role, you will listen to understand the quality and volume of talent required, then screen, interview, and identify qualified candidates to fill those positions. Site Managers act as an on-site extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of the workforce—including business relationship development, recruitment, selection, and employee management.

- Client Partnerships: Build and maintain a strong partnership with the client, understanding their business, processes, policies, and strategic direction.
- Talent Pipeline: Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent that aligns with the client's needs through consistent execution of a dedicated recruiting plan.
- Candidate Selection: Screen and select candidates according to client-specific job profiles and workforce forecasts.
- Compliance & Standards: Comply with all operational standards, employment laws, and industry regulations.
- Consultative Relationship: Build top-of-mind awareness through in-person visits that foster trusted, consultative relationships.
- Strategic Matchmaking: Market talent's skills and abilities by making the best match for both the client and the candidate.
- Innovative Solutions: Offer creative, effective employment solutions and provide services that consistently delight our clients and talent.
What You Need to Bring
- Schedule Requirements: Must be comfortable and available to work a consistent 2nd shift schedule (2:45 PM – 11:45 PM).
- Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is a strict requirement. You must be able to speak, read, and write comfortably in both languages.
- Customer-First Experience: 1+ years of experience in a high-touch, customer-facing role (such as retail, hospitality, restaurants, customer support, sales, or recruiting).
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, with experience managing high-volume interactions or busy shifts (e.g., bustling retail, peak restaurant hours, or staffing services).
- Relationship Building: A natural ability to build quick rapport and develop strong, trusting relationships with customers, guests, and team members.
- Organization Skills: A master multitasker with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and pivot quickly when plans change.
- Polished Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally across all levels of an organization.
- Problem Solving: Strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills, with a track record of handling difficult situations with empathy and patience.
- Expectation Management: Strong active listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and confidently manage expectations (including delivering tough news or alternative solutions).

Pay Rate: $48,355.00 - $74,030.00 Annually
Randstad offers competitive pay and bonus structures. Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
