Corporate Counsel will provide in-house legal support across the full contract lifecycle. Reporting to the Associate General
Counsel, this attorney will review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements; advise sales teams and
business leaders on legal risk; and contribute to compliance, legal research, and process improvement
initiatives in a fast-paced, high-volume, remote environment.
What you get to do:
- Review, draft, and redline client-facing commercial agreements (master services agreements, statements of work, amendments, NDAs, and staffing/consulting agreements) to ensure alignment with the company’s risk tolerance and standard terms (40%)
- Negotiate terms of commercial agreements with client counsel and counterparties (20%)
- Advise sales teams and business stakeholders on legal risk, contract terms, and compliance considerations; serve as a trusted legal partner to internal clients across multiple industries (20%)
- Conduct legal research across multiple practice areas (commercial transactions, data privacy, employment, corporate compliance, intellectual property, and vendor management) and provide actionable analysis to the Associate General Counsel and senior leadership; contribute to compliance and process improvement initiatives (10%)
- Support the development and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, standard operating procedures, and the contract management repository (IntelAgree) (5%)
- Manage escalations from business stakeholders, including time-sensitive contract approvals; identify and flag legal risks; and collaborate with the Legal Team on contract disputes, regulatory inquiries, and special projects as assigned (5%)
What you need to bring:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Juris Doctorate Degree required
- Admitted to and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 3 years Professional legal experience required (law firm or transactional); in-house experience a plus but not required
- 3 years Experience with contract review, drafting, or negotiation (commercial, litigation-related, or transactional); familiarity with commercial contracts preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and legal research skills with the ability to learn new practice areas quickly; knowledge of contract principles and commercial risk assessment
- Proficiency with legal technology tools (e.g., contract management systems, legal AI platforms)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to exercise sound judgment under time pressure and manage competing priorities independently
- Demonstrated ability to communicate legal risk clearly to non-legal business stakeholders
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with evolving priorities
- Self-discipline and initiative required for fully remote work

Pay Rate: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 Annually
