This position leads North American Technology Portfolio Strategy and Execution efforts, serving as an operational engine and strategic partner to technology and business leadership in executing the multi-year technology roadmap. Responsible for establishing portfolio governance frameworks, driving executive communications and operating routines, optimizing delivery models, maturing enterprise delivery playbooks, managing Run vs. Build budget dynamics, and supporting the CIO in the elevation of the technology organization from order taking to order shaping.

- Executive Operations & Leadership Communications: Structure and facilitate CIO operating routines, IT Management Team (ITMT) cadences, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), town halls, and executive level reporting. Translate complex technology initiatives into clear strategic narratives and executive presentations.
- Portfolio Governance & Process Standardization: Lead Portfolio Governance across all facets of technology execution to strengthen processes and procedures. Partner cross-functionally across Finance, Procurement, Legal, Infrastructure, Digital & Enterprise, Security, and BI & Analytics to standardize and elevate governance workflows. Lead by influencing others to gain support to mature processes and shift organization from focus on effort to outcomes and business value.
- Prioritization Frameworks & Strategic Alignment: Lead prioritization frameworks and execution efforts, inclusive of documentation, scenario planning, and transparent organizational communications documentation regarding technology strategy.
- Delivery Playbooks, Governance & Funding: Define, mature, and enforce enterprise delivery playbooks and governance controls. Drive the long-term evolution of technology funding models from traditional project-based accounting toward product and value-stream funding models.
- Run vs. Build Budget Optimization & Financial Management: Partnering with finance to oversee total cost of ownership (TCO) and manage the financial allocation split between "Run the Business" (operational/BAU IT spend) and "Build/Change the Business" (strategic investments and CapEx), providing frameworks and guiding structures for simplifying allocations and re-charging models.
- Workforce Capacity & Operating Model Strategy: Partner with technology leadership to refine the IT operating model, driving resource capacity vs. demand balancing, onshore/offshore/GCC distribution, and long-term capability/skills planning.
- Operational Excellence & AI Integration: Establish portfolio reviews, management routines, and core processes supporting portfolio delivery with a strong focus on business outcomes. Actively leverage AI to optimize cross-functional processes and operational procedures.
- OKR/KPI Frameworks & Strategic Value Alignment: Establish OKR/KPI ways of working for the technology organization, including quarterly reporting cadences. Partner with leadership to elevate the technology organization from order taking to strategic order shaping.
- Risk Management & Quality Standards: Oversee enterprise-level risk identification and mitigation strategies, maintaining accountability for technical quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, and the continuous reprioritization of the portfolio based on evolving business needs.
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
- Master’s of Business Administration preferred
- 15+ years of Related and documented progressive experience
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
- Domain & Functional Expertise: Broad and comprehensive understanding of technology portfolio management, executive operations, financial management (CapEx/OpEx, TCO, Run vs. Build), SDLC governance, and program delivery concepts across multiple IT and business disciplines, including procurement, legal, privacy, etc..
- Leadership & Direction: Provides strategic direction and operational oversight for a significant portfolio segment, executive operating cadences, and project management teams through senior managers and project leaders.
- Accountability & Scope: Holds accountability for the performance, strategy execution, operational cadence, and outcome delivery of North American technology portfolio, driving initiatives that span regional and global functions and a variety of business lines.
- Strategy Influence & Execution: Contributes directly to and influences sub-functional and regional technology strategies; establishes annual portfolio plans, partners with finance to mature funding/delivery models, and collaborates with regional leadership teams to align execution with broader global goals.
- Operational Control: Participates in developing short- and long-term regional technology strategies while exercising effective management and governance over assigned program budgets, operating models, and portfolio resources.

Pay Rate: $172,000.00 - $258,000.00 Annually
