The Business Systems Analyst III candidate will specialize in Analytics & Reporting. They will be able to combine business requirements and technical data solutions, focusing on report design, data analysis, and validation. This role requires a strong technical aptitude and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for business stakeholders. The candidate must be inquisitive, detail oriented, and highly motivated, and they must possess excellent communications skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing, high pressure environment.

This role will focus on the following areas and require knowledge & skills in the technologies outlined: analytics and reporting: report design, data analysis & validation, data mapping, Data modeling, advanced SQL.

  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements for new reports and analytical projects.

  • Moderately Complex Troubleshooting. Strong business and technology acumen (Agile Methodologies, Full SDLC). Provide Tier II technical support, operations, and production support for assigned system components. Analyze application enhancements requested by users. Make formal recommendations, write application specifications including conversion, upgrade and interface routines. Provide valued system analysis of business and user needs. Leverage technology development, and facilitate redesign of business processes to improve business operations that leverage technology.
  • Appropriately manages stakeholders. Frequent contact with equivalent level inter-organizational associates concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements or contractual clarification. Attends briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives. Responsive and diplomatic. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of company personnel. Ability to maintain positive relationships through changing project requirements and priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic work environment. Meet deadlines, and exceed goals in high-pressure situations.
  • May assist on Projects. Project management methodology familiarity, including knowledge of change management practices and related tools. Manage small projects using internal project methodology. What you need to bring:

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Business or Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in report design and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, SQL Server, and Google BigQuery
  • Expertise in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Strong understanding of data mapping and data modeling principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with other data visualization or BI tools such as Pentaho or SSRS are nice to have
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
