The Engineering Talent Manager (TM) partners with engineering and technical clients to deliver high-quality talent solutions that drive client success and assignment retention. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and placing engineering talent while leveraging technology, market insights, and strong internal partnerships to build sustainable talent pipelines. The TM partners strategically with Client Development Managers to forecast technical requirements and ensure high-quality delivery, exercising independent judgement to optimize day-to-day operations and drive successful placements. 

What you get to do:

  • Leverage your engineering background to serve as a technical advisor, bridging the gap between complex industry requirements and human capital strategy to deliver specialized talent solutions for EPC, Energy, and Manufacturing clients
  • Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, using advanced sourcing tools and technical networking to identify, screen, and select high-caliber candidates for niche engineering and project delivery roles
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting plans to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates that aligns with client needs, utilizing all available candidate attraction method
  • Utilize various social media platforms to amplify our brand's visibility and reach. Share engaging content, including job postings, company culture highlights, employee testimonials, and industry news, to attract and connect with potential candidates. Actively participate in relevant online communities and groups to establish our presence and foster relationships with talented individuals
  • Partner with Client Development Managers to conduct technical intake calls and analyze market trends, providing the insights necessary to build proactive talent pipelines that align with client project milestones 
  • Manage the end-to-end placement process, including conducting technical interviews, performing compensation analyses, and negotiating competitive offer packages while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience 
  • Oversee the ongoing success and development of placed talent, conducting regular satisfaction checks and managing redeployment strategies to maximize assignment retention 
  • Ensure total operational compliance by managing the onboarding lifecycle—including background screenings and drug testing—while strictly adhering to Randstad policies and EEO laws to mitigate organizational risk 

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field; professional certifications such as EIT, CMfgE, CEPC, or PE are highly preferred
  • 2-5 years of professional experience within an engineering environment, such as hands-on design, project delivery, or technical operations 
  • Deep understanding of core engineering disciplines - including mechanical, electrical, civil, or manufacturing - with the ability to speak the "language" of the industry
  • Strong professional presence and communication skills, with a natural ability to consult with peers and explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences  
  • Proven problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented landscape
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies or processes
  • Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
