The Franchise Developer plays a pivotal role in expanding the Randstad franchise footprint by identifying, sourcing, and qualifying prospective franchise owners. Reporting to the Director of ITA with a dotted line to the President of Franchise, this position is responsible for executing targeted outreach using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot, conducting thorough market research, and guiding candidates through the initial sales funnel. The Franchise Developer collaborates closely with leadership to close new franchise agreements and achieve weekly and annual performance metrics.

Your typical day involves conducting market research, executing targeted outreach campaigns via LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot, connecting with prospective franchise candidates, qualifying leads through discovery calls, and tracking pipeline activity.

your responsibilities include

  • Identify key growth markets and target viable geographic locations for new franchise opportunities.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and other lead generation tools to build and manage outbound outreach campaigns.
  • Identify and connect with individuals interested in owning and operating a franchise business.
  • Maintain meticulous activity tracking and pipeline management within HubSpot CRM.
  • Qualify prospective franchise candidates through initial discovery calls, assessing financial capability, experience, and brand fit.
  • Present the Randstad franchise value proposition and educate candidates on business models and opportunities.
  • Partner with executive leadership, including the President of Franchise, to advance candidates through stages to final closing.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established weekly outreach targets and yearly conversion goals.
  • Continuously refine sales messaging and outreach tactics to accelerate pipeline velocity.
  • Collaborate with marketing and franchise leadership to align campaign efforts with strategic growth objectives.
  • Provide regular progress updates and pipeline reports to the Director of ITA and President of Franchise.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor positioning, and franchising regulations.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all candidate interactions and metrics in CRM tools on a timely basis.

your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in franchise sales, business development, or inside sales/recruiting.
  • Proven proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot CRM, and GoogleWorkspace.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding activity targets and conversion KPIs.
  • Strong prospecting, lead qualification, relationship building, and consultative selling abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence and influence capabilities.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Collaborative approach to working alongside cross-functional leadership.

Pay Rate: $82,400.00 - $123,600.00 Annually

Randstad offers competitive pay and bonus structures. Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
